TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM
The European Union ordered that in 2011 the Maltese and Gozitan people pay it €68,000,000
€186,000 daily stolen from your childrens mouths
A dismal failure by the Government on hearses
It is not true that we cannot leave the European Union
See this European Parliament video that we can leave

The
European Union propagandists are boasting with the dismal failure that the Prime
Minister and the Minister for Transport made with the liberalization of
hearses.
The
Campaign for National Independence CNI
insists that instead of lowering the fares, the Government obeyed the European
Union and increased the number of hearses for competition between them to lower
the fares.
According to the CNI,
when the Government increased the number of hearses, it caused damage to the
country, as will be shown hereunder.
If one considers that in our country some 3,000 funerals are held every year,
and that there were 10 hearses and each hearse was bought for Lm40,000, the
capital spent was Lm400,000 which left the country.
Ten
car licences and ten insurance policies used to be paid and ten drivers or
owners worked to give services to 3,000 funerals in a year.
In the issuing of ten new licences for hearses, the capital expenditure for the
hearses for carrying the same number of dead persons, 3,000 each year, increases
to Lm800,000 all expenses that leave the country.
20 licences and 20 insurance policies are [paid and 20 drivers or owners work to give the same amount of services to 3,000 funerals each year.
The
capital expenditure and the recurrent expenditure for 20 hearses are double the
amount of the capital and recurrent expenditures for ten hearses, while the
amount of services is the same of 3,000 funerals.
This
is something that does not make commercial sense.
If the fare remains the same after the increase in the number of hearses, every
owner of the 20 hearses would have an income, per capita, half of the income of
an owner when the number of hearses was half that number.
If when you double the number of hearses the owners get half the income of what
they used to have when the number of hearses was half the present number and the
fare remains the same, how can you pretend that the owners are going to lower
the fare and get less than half the income that they used to get?
The CNI
is of the opinion that if the Government feels that it is just that the hearse
owners should have half the income that they used to get when the number of
hearses was half (10 instead of 20), all the Government had to do was to reduce
the fare by half.
The
capital expenditure for ten hearses (Lm400,000) and the payment of ten new
licences and ten new insurance policies and the entry of ten new owners or
drivers would have been saved.
The CNI
says that unfortunately for our people, those who follow blindly the European
Union have lost their judgment to examine closely whether its policy, in this
case, the liberalization policy, is good or not for the circumstances of our
country.
In the hearses case, the European Union policy is economically wrong for our country and socially unjust for the hearses owners.
The
people are not going to benefit anything more than they use to if we had done
what is best for our country and more just for the hearses owners, that is,
reducing the fare as is just to be lowered.
To convince the people of the dismal failure that it had made, the Government
paid from the people’s taxes compensation of
€230,000 to the hearses owners prior to the issue of new licences.
And to continue in its dismal failure, the Government boasted that it expects that there will be between 30 and 40 hearses.
This means that if in our country not more than 8 funerals are held daily, (2,920 each year), if there will be 30 hearses, 22 of them will daily be standing by doing nothing while they see eight of their fellow owners work and if we will have 40 hearses, 32 of them every day will just stand by doing nothing.
While the capital expenditure that goes out of the country for 20 new hearses (with the present ten), increases to Lm800,000 and if for 30 new hearses, increases to one million two hundred thousand Malta Liri (Lm1,200,000).
Which
are paid directly to foreign hearse companies.
According to the CNI
this is criminal wastage of our country’s resources for which are guilty the
European Union and our capricious Government, its faithful poodle.
