THE CONSTITUTION OF MALTA
TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM
In the seven years 2007 – 2014 the Maltese and Gozitans are going to pay the European Union €420,000,000
Who is going to vote against the Constitution of Malta ?
The members of the Maltese Parliament have to state whether they are in favour or against the Constitution of Malta.
The Constitution of Malta states that it is the supreme law over any other law in Malta.
The Constitution of the European Union states that it is supreme over the Constitution of a Union member country.
The Maltese Parliament is going to be asked to vote in favour of the European Union Constitution.
Those who vote in its favour will be voting against the Constitution of Malta.
Whoever is in favour of the Constitution of Malta cannot vote in favour of the European Union Constitution.
Every member of the Maltese Parliament had sworn to be faithful and loyal to the Constitution of Malta.
Therefore whoever votes in favour of the European Union Constitution which is against the Constitution of Malta shall be in breach of the solemn oath that they had taken.
Now the Maltese people are going to see who from his representatives in the Maltese Parliament is going to vote in favour or against our country’s Constitution.
There is going to be a selection between those who are ready to sell the constitution of Malta and those who are not ready to betray it.
Whoever votes in favour of the European Union Constitution is worthy of the greatest contempt of the Maltese people.
Whoever does not want to raise the anger of the Maltese people against him should not contempt his country’s Constitution.
The European Union Constitution states not only that it, but any law that the Union makes in the fields that it has power, shall be supreme over the laws that the Maltese Parliament makes and also over the Constitution of Malta itself.
If a Member of the Maltese Parliament votes in favour of the Union Constitution that says so he will be in contempt of the same laws that he makes in the Maltese Parliament.
The Members of the Maltese Parliament that have the slightest bit of decency would not depreciate their work in this manner.
The Maltese people gave them a mandate to make laws that they believe are better for the people.
They did not tell them to accept what the European Union decides to do against the laws made by them in the Maltese Parliament.
The members of the Maltese Parliament neither can accept what the European Union Constitution states against the Constitution of Malta, if two from every three of all the members of the Maltese Parliament do not vote to change what the Constitution of Malta provides.
That is why if there is no majority of two from three of all the members of the Maltese Parliament, what the European Union Constitution provides against the Constitution of Malta will be useless and not be valid, notwithstanding that the Prime Minister would have signed it.

The Oath of allegiance taken by all Members of Parliament
I .................................. solemnly swear/affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the people and the Republic of Malta and its Constitution. (So help me God).
Oath for the due execution of the office of Prime Minister or other Minister or Parliamentary Secretary.
I ................................. solemnly swear/affirm that I will faithfully and conscientiously perform my duties as (Prime Minister/Minister/Parliamentary Secretary) in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Malta, without fear or favour. (So help me God).
Oath for the due execution of the office of President.
I................................. solemnly swear/affirm that I will faithfully execute the office of President (perform the functions of the President) of Malta, and will, to the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of Malta. (So help me God).
Section 6 of the Constitution of Malta
6. Subject to the provisions of sub-articles (7) and (9) of article 47 and of article 66 of this Constitution, if any other law is inconsistent with this Constitution, this Constitution shall prevail and the other law shall, to the extent of the inconsistency, be void.

The Constitution and the laws adopted by the institutions of the Union in the competences conferred to it shall prevail over the laws of the Member States.
