CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers

and against Malta's membership of the European Union

WE SWEAR TO FREE MALTA FROM THE SLAVERY, COLONIALISM AND DICTATORIAL ILLEGAL EUROPEAN UNION RULE

TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM

 The European Union ordered that as from 2010 the Maltese and Gozitan people pay it €182,192 daily stolen from your childrens mouths

How the EU is taking €376 million from us

The EU leaders are saying that they are exiting from the economic recession, but unemployment is not decreasing.

Apart from the grave problem of unemployment, many Union countries are facing great economic trouble that can lead to them to failure.

For the threat of financial failure, the EU policy does not appear to have an answer.

The member countries that are in financial trouble are many.

These are

* Portugal,

* Spain,

* Greece,

* Italy and

* Ireland,

who all introduced the euro.

There are also the

* United Kingdom,

* Hungary,

* Latvia and

* Lithuania,

who still have their currency.

The mixture of countries with the euro and without it does not make a difference for the situation of the country, and not as the Maltese EU propagandists (among them the Prime Minister) frequently likes to say that God forbid had we had not entered our country in the Eurozone.

In our country, with EU membership and with the introduction of the euro, the national debt continued to increase from year to year.

Unemployment also increased.

Notwithstanding all this the financial situation of our banks did not deteriorate

* and there was no need for the government to give them any funds

* as happened in the greater art of the Union,

* not only in the nine I have already mentioned,

* but also in Germany,

* France,

* Austria and

* Belgium,

who all have the euro.

A number of EU countries that did not introduce the euro,

* among them Sweden and

* Denmark,

are not hit with the present financial crisis.

This fact shows that the euro is not required for a country to protect its financial situation.

Two EU countries - Spain and Ireland – give us a very important lesson.

For a number of years the two had received big European funds and the Maltese EU propagandists used to brag with them with our people as an example how full membership and the EU policy will be good for our country.

Today’s very bad situation of the two countries shows us

* that the Union policy and its funds

* do not assure the country economic sustainability

* and neither financial stability in the long run,

* and the advances that a country can do with them is artificial,

* not stable

* and with time will bring great trouble

* and social trouble

* more than the country had before it started to implement the EU policy

with all its funds.

God forbid that the Maltese people, as a full member in the EU, shall have to pass from that which the people of these two countries are suffering.

It appears extremely clear that membership in the EU is a big financial burden on our people.

The great expenses that we are making to keep up with that which the EU wants from our country are enormous, so much so that the Government does not want to inform the people how much are the costs.

Apart from the costs,

the Maltese people also have to pay directly to the EU an amount every year.

Between 2004 (the first year of membership) and the end of 2010,

* according to the official Government estimates,

* the Maltese people shall have paid directly to the EU

a total of  €376 million.

To pay this money,

* the Maltese Government had to borrow,

* once it ends each year with a loss or deficit

* that is made good by borrowing.

If it borrows with an interest rate of 5% (in fact it borrows at a higher interest rate) on the sum of €376 million, the Maltese people shall pay in excess of €14.3 million interests every year.

This shows how great is the financial burden on the Maltese people who have to carry because of the irresponsible and shameful action of those who deceived them to vote in favour of EU membership and of those who today are deceiving them by telling them that now we cannot leave or that it is not in our interests to leave the European Union.

The Union values are not suitable for the Maltese people

Those who are blinded by Malta’s membership in the European Union (among them the Prime Minister and the Members of the Maltese Parliament) are insisting that the judgment against the crucifixes in schools classes was given by a court that is not a European Union court.

But they forget that a little while ago the EU Parliament had voted by 363 in favour and 226 against on a proposal of a Directive by the European Commission that states that crucifixes and other religious symbols cannot be exhibited in public places.

Therefore it clearly appears that the EU agrees with the court judgment that decided against crucifixes in schools.

It therefore also clearly appears that those in Malta who are blinded after EU membership tried to deceive the Maltese people by assuring them that the crucifixes judgment does not apply to our country.

The people should also know that on the basis of the Lisbon Treaty,

* the EU Court of Justice shall also take into consideration what is decided by the Council of Europe Court

* and that the Convention on Fundamental Human Rights of the Council of Europe

* also applies to the EU

* and that the fundamental human rights,

* which are part of the Lisbon Treaty,

are similar to the rights of the Council of Europe Convention.

The court judgment against crucifixes in schools

* is based on the Convention on Fundamental Human Rights of the Council

* and therefore also impinges on the EU,

* notwithstanding that the Maltese EU propagandists

struggle to deceive the people that the judgment does not apply to us.

In this context

* it can be said that in the wards and rooms of the Mater Dei hospital

* religious symbols that were in St Luke’s hospital were not allowed

and many insist that this was because of our membership in the EU.

In England they even did not allow a nurse to have a cross with her necklace and the same happened to an air hostess.

It’s good to be reminded that the EU did not accept that God be mentioned in its Constitution

* and that the EU Parliament

* did not approve that a person be appointed as a Commissioner

* because of his religious belief that he embraces,

notwithstanding that the EU preaches against religious discrimination.

It is he who does not want to see that cannot see that the EU values are not suitable for the Maltese people.

For the Union,

* destroying a baby in the womb with abortion is a woman’s right,

* a man has the right to marry another man

* and a woman has the right to marry another woman.

And when the Union is not happy to embrace these values,

* but wants to impose them on the Maltese people

* and denigrates us if we do not accept them.

When one sees all this,

* the Maltese people should rise up

* and tell the EU to keep these “rights” and “values” to itself

* because they are not suitable to us

because the Maltese and the Gozitans are not pagans.

Is it more or less efficient with the Lisbon Treaty?

By Eddy Privitera

In the Nice Treaty they had said that the European Union cannot be governed efficiently following enlargement if each member continues to have a Commissioner in the European Commission.

And therefore they decided that the Commission shall not have more than 20 Commissioners when the EU is enlarged to 27 member states.

In the Lisbon Treaty they accepted that every member state continue to have a Commissioner.

Thus the number of Commissioners is not going to be reduced to 20.

At the same time they continue to hammer home that with Lisbon Treaty “is going to make better the way the EU works to do its job with the most efficient and effective way in the 21 century”.

I ask:

Then when in the Nice Treaty they said that the EU cannot be governed efficiently if it had more than 20 Commissioners, didn’t they know what they were saying?

Or is it perhaps now that they do not know what they are doing now that they decided that every member state continues to have a Commissioner and are saying that with this Lisbon Treaty the EU is going to be more efficient?

Europe house opened … Come visit!

Lately the Representation of the European Commission in our country opened a house in Valletta and named it Europe House and was opened by the President of the Republic.

A short campaign was also made in the newspapers about this fact.

The title of these adverts was “Europe house opened … Come visit!

It was stated that this house is going to serve for the EU to be “nearer to the Maltese and Gozitan citizen”.

I take off my hat to those who make EU propaganda.

They have a knack how to alienate the people with things of small importance which however they enlarge in a certain manner that whoever does not use his mind as he is supposed to will easily swallow the EU propaganda and will start to believe that our country’s membership is a good thing and is being fruitful.

I advise those who are going to visit Europe House to be careful what to say and ask the officers that manage the house.

Make sure that you don’t ask them why the EU does not want the European citizens to have the possibility of showing their opinion by means of a referendum whenever a new treaty is made, such as was the Lisbon Treaty, when the vast majority of the populations in every member country have always shown that they want to be consulted in this manner.

Because if you were to ask such a question, instead of “Come visit” they will tell you “Get out of here!”
