WELCOME TO THE CNI WEBPAGE

CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers

and against Malta's membership of the European Union

WE SWEAR TO FREE MALTA FROM THE SLAVERY, COLONIALISM AND DICTATORIAL ILLEGAL EUROPEAN UNION RULE

The European Union ordered that as from 2010 the Maltese and Gozitan people pay it €182,192 daily stolen from your childrens mouths

Falsified EU research

Everyone knows that a speedometer is an instrument that measures speed or velocity.

A Barometer is an instrument that measures the ‘bar’, that means a measure of pressure.

The barometer is hung on a room wall, marks the pressure of the atmosphere and with it you will know what the weather will be like.

The EU European Commission uses a barometer called Eurobarometer.

This consists of research that is regularly held by the Commission unknown agents in every Union country to investigate the opinion of the country’s people.

With them the Commission becomes aware of what the people think about the directives issued by the Union and the policy that it drafts.

If it results from the research that the people do not agree with some of the Union directives or policy, the Commission does not change the directives or policy, but uses ever propaganda means or other means so that the people will swallow or submit to that which the European Commission would want.

For the European Commission it is important to know what the people think about some measure that the Union is going to take or what is the impression of the people about it, because if it quickly takes decisions that the people are not ready to accept, the people will renounce them and the European Commission will end up torn apart.

The European Commission knows how to use devilish tactics to alienate public opinion on a big issue so that at the same time it will succeed in what it wants to happen without the people noticing what is happening.

This is what happened in Malta on the illegal immigrants issue.

With the help of the media helped by the EU, the people were alienated on the illegal immigrants invasion from Africa and on the setting up of rightwing and extreme rightwing organisations against illegal immigrants.

But the people are ignoring a much bigger invasion of foreigners from the EU among which (according to Government official figures) there are even more than 2,7000 workers.

The thousands of foreigners who came from the EU, apart from taking work away from Maltese workers, rented or bought property in our country.

As a consequence of this fact we have had an enormous increase in rent and more in the price of property.

Neither today’s high rent nor the high property prices are related to the level of wages and salaries in Malta and have therefore created a serious social problem.

The EU works with a plan to ensure that the Union policy is implemented in our country.

The Eurobarometer research gives it the necessary information about the Maltese public pressure and considers when it is the right time to introduce what it wants, such as divorce, marriage between same sex couples, euthanasia and other things that the Commission dreams about.

Whoever does not agree with the Union and its policy should ask himself whether he should help the Union achieve its aims by taking part in the research that it conducts, when one knows that it uses its research not to do what the public wants, but to think what steps it should take to make the public accept what it wants to achieve.

Whoever does not want to help the Union can refuse to answer the questions that are put to him when the research is being carried out or he can answer wrongly to falsify the research results.

One way or the other, whoever does not want to be an accomplice in what the Union does, should not allow it to use him.

His lack of cooperation helps so that the millions spent in propaganda to work on people’s minds would be in vain.

Everyone now says we are right about hunting

Everyone who read what was said in the debate in the European Parliament on the resolution that was presented to force the Maltese Government to conform with the conservation of the wild birds directive could not miss out that what was said by the Maltese European Parliament Members confirms that what we have been saying, we the CNI, long before the Referendum and the General Election, was the truth.

That is, that both the Nationalist Government and the European Union were deceiving the Maltese and Gozitan people.

The same Simon Busuttil, who at that time was leading the MIC, the office responsible to inform the Maltese people about everything that had to do with the negotiations that were being held between the Maltese Government and the European Commission, accused the Commission that in those negotiations it had never mentioned that there was another alternative to spring hunting and that it was mentioning it now.

Simon Busuttil asked Commissioner Stavros Dimas for an explanation on why they had stayed quiet at that time.

The other Nationalist Deputy, David Casa said that the resolution that had been presented in the European Parliament undermines the credibility of the European institutions.

And he asked,

“What guarantee do we, the Maltese, have that the EU will maintain its word on the rest of the negotiations?”

What was said by David Casa was said before by Eddy Privitera in his Commentary on Smash TV on Thursday, 8 March, when he asked:

“Since the EU is not abiding by the agreement that it is supposed to have created with the Maltese Government about a hobby, how can we trust it to abide by an agreement that was concluded with the Maltese Government on far more serious issues, such as abortion?”

Naturally, when we read what David Casa had said in the European Parliament we could not forget how he used to praise the EU and show it as a champion of democracy, seriousness and transparency.

Who could have told him that less than three years after he had entered in the European Parliament he would become aware that the Commission people “cannot be trusted”.

But it is better late than never!

And we thank him because with what he said he has given us a first-class certificate about what we have always told the people about the EU.

But it was the Deputy Joseph Muscat who spoke without any hesitation when he accused both the Government and the European Commission that they deceived the Maltese people.

He accused the Nationalist Government that it had deceived the people when it gave the impression that it had got everything.

And he accused the European Commission that it had remained silent when it knew that the Government was not giving a true picture of what had been negotiated.

All this continues to confirm how right we are when we say that the vote in favour of membership was “taken by deceit”.

That is why we, CNI can never consider that vote as representing the free will of the Maltese and Gozitan people.

That vote represents “only the will of those who wanted to deceive our people”.

During his commentary on Smash TV today, Eddy Privitera will show the proof of the deceit that was carried out on the hunters and trappers.

The EU membership agreement is invalid and null

When it is proved that the consent in a contract was taken by deceit, the Court declares the contract invalid and null.

Now it is proved that for the membership in the European Union agreement, the people were deceived about Spring hunting and trapping.

Therefore the agreement for membership in the Union should be considered invalid and null.

Once the decision by the people for membership in the Union is invalid and null because of the deceit of the people, no one should insist that we should submit to that decision and accept membership in the Union.

In a democracy the will of the majority wins when the will is shown to be free from deceit.

Deceit invalidates and annuls the will of the majority and there is no longer an obligation for that invalid and null will to be implemented.

Once the membership in the Union agreement is invalid and null because of the deceit of the peoples’ consent, whoever respects the Maltese people will not accept the continuation of the agreement that binds the people to submit to the decisions and the policy of the European Union that helped to deceive the Maltese people to vote YES for the membership in the Union agreement.

New taxes by the EU

Although Slovakia is one of the countries that, like Malta, has ratified the EU Constitution which the French and Dutch people had voted against, the Slovak Minister for Finance, Ivan Miklos, a little while ago had changed his mind about the Constitution, because what had been agreed in the Constitution about the Union institutions can increase the pressure for taxes to be harmonized in the Union countries and this can be damaging to his country.

Ivan Miklos said that it will not be in the interest of the economic development and competitivity of the EU that the Union Constitution be adopted if this leads to the harmonization of taxes.

A few months ago, the European Commissioner responsible for taxes, Laszlo Kovacs, said that he wants to make a common company tax in 2008.

He criticized those who insist that every country is sovereign about what taxes it makes, because according to him, there are no reasons for this or that he has never heard concrete arguments against the harmonization of taxes in all the Union countries.

He continued to say that he believes that competition is no less important than the sovereignty on taxes.

Laszlo Kovacs spoke about a plan for the introduction of a EU tax so that this tax will replace the contributions that the member countries today make to the Union.

He is of the opinion that this EU tax would be added to the VAT and thus would be collected immediately from the citizens of the member countries and would be sent immediately to the Union.

Another proposal was made for the Union tax to be one that is deducted from wages, as happens today in the case of income tax.

The French European Parliament Deputy, Alain Lamassoure, insists that a tax deducted from wages will be more transparent than how the EU is presently financed.

Alain Lamassoure also said that there is another way of financing the Union, by part of the financing being in the form of a tax on the gross income of every member country (gross national income) and partly from a tax on the importation of agricultural products and duties.

Lamassoure also mentioned that the Union will be given a bigger part of VAT, of the excise duty on transport fuel, on excise tax on tobacco and alcohol and that a new tax will be introduced on companies profits and that they all go directly to the EU budget.

Other new taxes were also mentioned on shares, on financial transactions and on savings that go directly to the Union.

All this shows that we should expect showers of new taxes from the EU.
