The UE helps illegal immigration

It is not true that we cannot leave the European Union
See this European Parliament video that we can leave
Illegal
immigrants trafficking should be considered a crime as drug trafficking.
With its policy the European Union is helping illegal immigrants’ criminal traffickers to earn money from the sufferings of immigrants.
Every civilized country maintains the right to control who enters the country.
Countries
that pretend that they are advanced
* such as the United States and the United Kingdom,
* indeed demand that persons from certain countries
* must have a visa to be accepted,
* and a visa is not issued to everyone who requests it,
* and whoever is found without permission in the country
* is sent to prison and afterwards expelled from the country.
Once it is accepted by everyone that a country has the right to control who
enters in the country there should be no objection that this principle also
applies to illegal immigrants.
A country has the right not to accept them as it has the right not to issue a
visa to those who will be coming from certain countries.
Refugees and immigrants
We
will make a mistake when we mix up the duty to give help to those who are in
danger of drowning with allowing them to enter and stay the country. To sane
them is our duty, but to accept them in our country is not.
A person without a visa, although s/he would have paid to come on a passenger ship is not allowed to remain here.
If this person instead of coming in on a passenger ship is brought to Malta on an Armed Forces of Malta launch that collects them from the middle of the sea, just the same they do not have a right to remain here.
In both cases we have a right to force them to leave the country, because in both cases they will be breaching the country’s laws.
This
reasoning which used to apply to every civilize country no longer remained
applicable for the European Union which mixed up the concept of a refugee
seeking asylum which is political with the case of illegal immigrants
trafficking to seek economic benefit.
The European Union decided that its member countries have a duty to keep in the
country illegal immigrants that arrive or are brought in the country.
The European Union forces a member country to see whether the illegal immigrants should be considered as refugees, and if they are not, whether they should be given humanitarian protection. In both cases the country is obliged to allow the illegal immigrants to remain in the country.
Illegal Immigrants trafficking business
With
its policy on illegal immigrants, the EU has created the criminal business of
illegal immigrants trafficking.
The illegal immigrants’ traffickers are making good money from them, and worse than this, are exposing the illegal immigrants to imminent danger of drowning because in many cases they are not providing them with transport means that are suitable for the voyage if the sea is rough.
The
European Union knows about this criminal illegal immigrants trafficking, but it
does neither care about the human suffering nor about the death of many
immigrants.
The European Union does not want illegal immigration to stop, because many of its member countries need new blood to fill the void of their population that is decreasing and to increase the countries economy.
In our country prior to joining the European Union every political party used to
agree that foreigners would not be allowed to reside and work here if we have
Maltese citizens who are able to do the foreigners work.
No one in our country would have dreamt of accepting illegal immigrants.
The
European Union forced us to change our policy on immigrants and did not want to
allow our country to join the European Union if we do not accept that illegal
immigrants remain in our country.
The
European Union does not care about the size of the population and the small size
of our country and that we have a lack of jobs for thousands of Maltese and
Gozitans, and that the financial means and social services of the country cannot
support the expenses required to keep thousands of foreign illegal immigrants.
With the greatest obscenity the European Union while forcing us to keep
thousands of illegal immigrants in our country, does not permit us to allow them
to go wherever they want in the big countries that form part of the European
Union.
The Maltese
politicians
* who are servile to the European Union
* accept its policy on illegal immigration
* with great damage to the national interests of our people.
Malta needs to stand up for its rights
What is the greatest need that the Maltese people presently have?
The
answer was given by Architect Mintoff
* in his last appeal in the setting up
* of the Front “Maltin Inqumu” (Maltese Arise Front),
* prior to the 2003 referendum,
* where he said that “Malta needs to rise up”.
With great sorrow we have to admit that the Maltese people did not arise in 2003, and today, has still not arisen from the lethargy that has fallen on them.
Therefore we feel that it is now fitting more than previously, to reiterate Mintoff’s idea when he said “Malta needs to rise up”.
In his appeal to the Front “Maltin Inqumu” Mintoff had said.
“…in the relationship with the EU we must make sure that our work for peace will remain untouched. We should do more than this. We also believe that the EU also needs peace.”
After uttering these words, Mintoff made a very important announcement where he said,
“If the EU arrives at the point of accepting a peace policy by denying war for ever, we will be ready to share with it that part of sovereignty to reach our common aim of peace.”
With
great sorrow we say that the EU is not ready to deny war for ever.
Therefore we should not share part of our sovereignty with it.
More so we should not embrace the EU’s common foreign and security policy, which is not like our neutrality and peace policy.
In his appeal to the Front “Maltin Inqumu” Mintoff had said that apart from the purpose of protecting peace “we have another great purpose to protect jobs in our country and to increase the means for the creation or wealth for our people. Therefore we should make the EU understand that it should not shackle us with regulations that decrease jobs in our country and that do not help us to grow economically.”
Unfortunately
the EU did not understand this warning that it should not with its regulations
shackle our jobs.
It insisted that we apply its regulations
* that caused us to lose a lot of jobs that our country had before,
* and therefore many factories had to close down,
* reduced exports from our country,
* and thousands of workers lost their jobs,
* among them the 1,700 Shipyard workers.
Therefore the EU subdued another of our great objectives of protecting peace.
In his appeal to the Front “Maltin Inqumu” Mintoff, as he always did, was not afraid to tell the people what they had to do.
"We tell the people that to reach our aims, we must work more, with greater wisdom, with more honesty and with greater sacrifices. We have to be ready to do whatever is necessary to first stop the increase in the national debt, and then eliminate completely the debt that is crippling our country.”
With a sense of disappointment we have to admit that we did not work more and did not show more wisdom and certainly we did not proceed with more honesty during the last seven years.
The
sacrifices had to be made by the small peoples sectors,
* the workers,
* the pensioners,
* from which we should have pretended less,
* while the peoples sectors that should have shouldered more sacrifices,
* continued helping themselves and enriching themselves.
That is why we have not reached our aims as a country and went backwards in the protection of jobs and the protection of moral values.
Neither did we succeed in stopping the increase in national debt, because we increased it every year, so that today it is more than €4 billion, and none of our politicians have the courage to say that s/he is going to work to reduce it by making the necessary sacrifices.
Today as never before Malta needs to rise up.
The loss of European Union funds
By By Charles Micallef, Campaign for National Independence CNI
During
the referendum campaign for Malta’s membership in the European Union, they told
us a lot of how many funds were going to come from the Union.
We were like a lot of fools counting how much money we were going to receive from the EU every year, except the CNI.
Time has come and gone away, and proved CNIright, because the funds that we are receiving from the EU are coming from our own money that every year we pay as our share that we have to pay to the EU.

Prior
to the 2003 referendum,
* together with the Maltese propagandists in favour of EU membership,
* foreign prominent persons had united,
* such as the European Commission President,
* Romano Prodi,
* and Commissioner Gunther Verheugen,
* who assured us that we shall receive a lot of money
* if we become European Union members.
The
Foreign Minister at the time, Guido Demarco even said that we are going to
receive one hundred Maltese liri every year from the EU.
Now they do not care how much we Maltese are receiving or spending because of the EU, because we no longer need a “baby walker”.
Now we are hearing stories of the loss of EU funds,
* five hundred euros were lost to students who go to study in other countries,
* six hundred thousand were lost by the Employment and Training Corporation,
* and we hear about the treachery in the payment of subsidies,
* such as those five hundred thousand euros that were mentioned in the agriculture sector.
With these we have to add the hundreds of euros that we had to pay in fines to the EU for not observing its regulations.
The EU does not send us a cheque by post as the pensioners receive their pension
cheque by post.
It appears that to receive funds and not to be fined because we do not observe its regulations, we have to do a lot of work, the filling of many forms that has to be precisely filled and not carelessly to “get it done with” or “let’s do it quickly”.
Now we are seeing
that those who
* prior to the 2003 referendum
* had warned that we were not ready to join the EU
* and acquire its funds were right,
* because we do not have enough trained persons
* to keep up with the work that the EU wants to be ready in the fixed time it gives.
But
we did not listen to them, not because we were deaf but because we did not want
to listen.
If to get funds from the EU we have a lot of difficulties, there is no
difficulty to pay our share to the EU.
Malta’s share is calculated in advance in the budget that the Minister for Finance presents during the last part of the year.
For this year the share that we are going to pay to the EU is €66 million and this is paid by the Maltese Government by sending a cheque to the EU every month in advance.
While the EU sends its funds after a lot of time after the projects are ready, our country sends its share to the EU every month in advance.
There are no difficulties in our payments to the EU as there are in its payment of funds to us.
I think that as long as we remain in the EU, it will be right to have a Minister
directly responsible for all the EU funds to assure that they are not lost and
that we observe correctly its regulations to prevent being fined.
It is not good to continue to confound and continue with our inefficiency and lose money or pay money.
It is like we entered a war without being correctly armed for it.
With a Minister responsible for all EU funds,
* scandals such as we had in the Education Ministry,
* in the Employment and Training Corporation,
* in the agricultural sector,
* in infrastructural projects that were not completed on time,
* and in the lack of information that we are obliged to give to the EU will not occur.
It is our duty to protect national interests before the individual interests, and national interests demand that all the Ministers cede the management of EU funds to one Minister who will be directly in charge of all the funds that we have a right to from the EU.
