WELCOME TO THE CNI WEBPAGE

CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers

and against Malta's membership of the European Union

WE SWEAR TO FREE MALTA FROM THE SLAVERY, COLONIALISM AND DICTATORIAL ILLEGAL EUROPEAN UNION RULE

TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM

The European Union ordered that in 2011 the Maltese and Gozitan people pay it €68,000,000

€186,000 daily stolen from your childrens mouths

No to a foreign maritime base

It is not true that we cannot leave the European Union

Twenty-nine years ago we got rid of the foreign base.

Now they want the next year we will have a foreign maritime base, by the Shipyard being given to foreigners.

Because the

* docks,

* quays,

* workshops,

* plant and

* the Shipyard tools

make from the Shipyard an excellent maritime base that the Government wants to pass on to foreigners.

From a British Naval Base, the Shipyard is going to become a foreign maritime base.

The CNI objects that we will have again have a foreign base in our country.

Neither the privatization nor the stopping of its subsidies require that the Shipyard be sold to foreigners.

Privatized and managing without subsidies, the Shipyard can and should remain in Maltese hands.

National pride thus demands from every true Maltese that cherishes our country and our people.

If the Shipyard will also be in foreigner’s hands, the
CNI asks what will remain in Maltese hands?

We have given the best bank,

* the Mid-Med bank to the foreigners.

* The Freeport is in foreign hands.

* The Air Terminal was passed on to foreigners.

* We sold Maltacom to foreigners.

* The unloading and loading of merchandise in the Grand Harbour is in foreign hands.

* The Lotto is managed by foreigners.

* The Post ended up in foreigner’s hands.

* The greater part of Ta’ Qali was taken by the Americans.

* We have lost most of the local manufacturing industry.

* The transport of exports that Sea Malta used to make was given to foreigners and Sea Malta was destroyed.

All that with great wisdom and great ability was built by those before us for our people, we have sold it, and notwithstanding that we have sold all this wealth, we have burdened our country with billions of debt.

Our Parliament is no longer sovereign.

The Government is no longer free to decide itself, and our destiny is no longer in our hands, because everything is done as ordered by the European Union.

The
CNI insists that we have again become a colony, not of the British, but of the European Union.

As previously we have Maltese citizens who looked after their interests and served the Empire, not Malta, the same we have today Maltese citizens who look after their interests above all else, and for them the European Union comes before Malta.

The attraction of money cursed our youths, made them lose their dignity honour, and enslaved them.

They are no longer ready to sacrifice themselves for their country and their countrymen.

The European Union membership did not only cause us material damage, but much worse, weakened us morally.

With our wealth we have lost our soul and honour.

The Shipyard future offers us the opportunity to stop this Maltese national resources haemorrage from continuing to be changed into foreigners property.

If the Government wants to obey the European Union and let go from its hands the Shipyard and stop giving it aid after the end of this year, the workers who want to continue to work in the Shipyard should take it in their own hands and make a partnership with a partner who is capable of providing professional efficient effective management as required by the Shipyard without and interference and aid from the Government.

The
CNI believes that the Maltese people, who with their taxes do not wish to make good for the Shipyard losses, should be proud that the Shipyard remains in Maltese hands and not again fall in foreigner’s hands, because the Shipyard is a strategic part of our country, and is moulded with the history of Malta.
