Inefficiency and waste in the EU
The
European Union, that pretends to make the governments of the member countries
administer in an efficient manner, manages its own affairs in the most
inefficient way, with enormous waste of money.
An example is the great number of agencies that it sets up to take care of
specific sectors, such as the drug vice, human rights and professional training.
Today there are 23 agencies in the European Union.
There is no agreement that they are all required.
Among
those who do not agree with the requirement of many of them we find the Austrian
Herbert Bosch, the Chairman of the European Parliament Commission that controls
the Union budget.
Bosch says that the Union suffers from the agencies disease that he calls
“agencyitis”.
This is causing the draining of a great amount Union money, about a billion euros every year, that after all comes from the taxes paid by the citizens of the Union member countries, including the Maltese people.
There
are 3,737 employees with the Union agencies.
According to Bosch, no one in the European Union examines how really useful are
all these agencies that operate without control by anyone and without anyone
being responsible for them.
He
went on to complain that the European Union is culturing what he calls “a
culture of irresponsibility”.
The European Parliament criticized the European Commission about the establishment of these agencies.
It is not only because of the many agencies that the European Parliament criticized the European Commission.
The
Parliament also complained about the vast number of employees that are employed
with the European Commission, that today total 19,004.
Inge Grafsle, the speaker for the Members of the European Parliament for the
Popular European Party, insists that it does not appear that there was the need
for most of the employees that were recently employed by the Commission.
An example of this is the European Commission section responsible for information and propaganda that has 1,2000 employees.
Notwithstanding
all these employees, Inge Grafsle remarks that the appearance of the Commission
in the public eye is not so good.
Another example of the excesses of the European Union in the number of employees was given recently when Bulgaria and Romania became members in the Union, at the beginning of this year.
At the beginning of the year the European Commission employed 741 new employees to see that the common market was being correctly implemented in the two new member countries.
Grafsle
says that the European Commission expenses are exploding upwards very rapidly,
among them the funds that the Union has to put aside for the employees pensions,
that for next year it is estimated that they will have to be increased by ten
percent.
Propaganda has become the daily bread without which the European Union will end up dying of hunger!
They
so know that the European Union can continue to exist only if it scares the
people of Europe with the spectre of the last war, that frequently the European
Commissioners and those who repeat like parrots what the Commissioners had said
fall into ridicule.
The phrase that they most like to repeat is that “the European Union brought
peace in Europe”.
How many times have we given you proof that this is not the truth?
The
prevention of war has been brought by the armies of Great Britain, of the United
States of America and of the Soviet Union.
They are repeating this fib to this day.
But
in certain circumstances they are increasing the dose by trying to put into the
minds of European citizens and politicians, that if the European Union
Constitution that they are now trying to introduce under another name, that of
Reform Treaty, does not enter into effect this year, there may be another war
in Europe.
Don’t think that we are exaggerating to put the European Union in bad
light.
It’s nothing of this sort.
See
the evidence, as we CNI
have always given.
The Swedish European Commissioner Margot Wallstrom, who is responsible to
promote the entry of the European Union Constitution under the mask of the
Reform Treaty, went to make a speech where, during the last war, was known as
“The Jewish Ghetto”, in Terezin, in the Czech Republic, on the occasion of
the celebrations of the end of the Second World War (VE Day).
Margot Wallstrom had the impudence to say that those politicians who are going
to resist that their country “shares national sovereignty” would be
risking going back to the Nazi-time horrors of the Thirties and Forties.
Wallstrom
said that the Second World War was the result of national pride and greed and of
the rivalry for power and wealth.
This Swedish Commissioner continued to say that the European Union had changed
this rivalry into a historic agreement that the countries in Europe started to
share their national sovereignty between them!
It appears that these Commissioners, with blinkers on their eyes, “forgot that
those who died during the last war gave their life for the same liberty that the
Union is destroying!”
The European Union turned to pornography to make propaganda for the aims of the Union.
A month ago it issued a 44-second video clip with the title “Film lovers will love this” that shows 28 couples having sexual relationships.
The video scenes are from the films “Amilie” and “All about my brother” that were produced with funds granted by the Union.
Two of the scenes show gay couples making love and the scenes are aimed at
showing the sexual equality that the Union preaches.
This video clip was made by the Press Unit of the Commissioner for
Communications, Margot Wallstrom, with the aim of rousing public interest in the
work of the European Union.
But this video caused the Union to be ridiculed and raised a lot of
criticism.
A
Member of the European Parliament, Mariej Grietych, accused the European Union
that it is making use of immoral means to make propaganda for itself.
Another
Member of the European Parliament, Godfret Boom, even said that what the couples
in the video were doing witnessed that which the Union is doing to the people of
the member countries.
Another Member of the European Parliament, Chris Heaton-Harris, criticized the
European Union for wasting, in this not so brilliant manner, money collected
from the taxes of the people of the member countries.
But the European Commissioner Margot Wallstrom declared that it is very
important that the European Commission makes use of every means that it might
have to communicate with the citizens of the Union.
It
should be remembered that the Maltese Christians are contributing their share
every year for the European Union to make this filth.
The same is doing Catholic Malta that pays its share every year to the Union so
that it subsidizes the campaign in favour of abortion in the countries that are
given financial aid by the European Union.
When we refer to the membership of our country in the European Union, we frequently say that Malta has now become “a colony of the European Union”.
How right we are to write and say so has been proved for us by the President of the European Commission, Josè Manuel Barroso.
Recently, when Barroso was talking with journalists that had asked him what he thinks of the European Union, he told them:
“We
are a very special construction, unique in the history of mankind. Sometimes I
like to compare the European Union as a creation, to be organisation of an
empire.”
Those politicians who tell us that it is not true that those of the European
Union do not want the Union to become a “superstate”, now you have another
proof that they are deceiving you and playing the fool with you when they tell
you so.
Remember
these words that we have quoted, the words spoken by Barroso, and mention these
words to them to show them that they no longer have the chance to play the fool
with you.
The enlargement of the European Union during the last years came as a result of the millions that the European Union spends each year in propaganda so that the people of the European countries will be encouraged in favour of membership in the Union.
First the European Union gets hold of the politicians and the main media in a country and then uses them to influence the people in favour of membership in the Union.
This is what happened in our country and this has happened in every other country that became a member in the European Union, except in those countries that were under Soviet influence.
Because
in these Eastern European countries it was not necessary for the people to be
influenced by the politicians.
Like every other state that had an empire, the European Union is building its army and militarizing itself.
And the empire worm is in the blood of many of the people of the European Union.
The French, the Germans, the Spaniards, the Italians, the Portuguese, the British, the Belgians and the Dutch – all were imperial people or had their colonies.
Now that all these people have lost their empires and colonies, they feel the need to be united together to regain their previous greatness.
The
European Union fills that void in their hearts that has been brought by the loss
of their empires and colonies.
That is why they have spent millions to acquire the Maltese colony.
