WELCOME TO THE CNI WEBPAGE
CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers
and against Malta's membership of the European Union
TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM
The European Union ordered that in 2011 the Maltese and Gozitan people pay it €68,000,000
€186,000 daily stolen from your childrens mouths
The ugly reality of EU membership
It is not true that we cannot leave the European Union
See this European Parliament video that we can leave
The Maltese protagonists of the European Union want to deceive the people by saying that with EU membership “we are living a European reality”.
As if membership made us European and part of Europe.
The deceit is that the European Union is represented as Europe, when the Union is part of Europe.
Europe has existed for many centuries before the European Union was set up, and will remain Europe after the Union is gone.
As
Malta was part of Europe, prior to becoming a member in the European Union, and
will remain European, after it leaves the Union.
The propagandists brag that the peace, freedom of the person and the European continent, the value of democracy and the human rights make us European.
Whoever says so is forgetting that
* the history of Europe until recently and for whole centuries,
* was a theatre of the harshest wars,
* that in many European countries the freedom of the person did not exist,
* that dictatorships used to reign instead of democracy, and
* that the human rights were trampled upon.
They also forget that for a long time
* the Europeans rules over the greater part of the world,
* oppressed as much as they liked other people, and
* sucked as much as they could their natural resources.
Many
of those countries that were ruled by the Europeans, are still today unable to
develop and go forward due to the disasters that the Europeans made upon them in
the past.
The propagandists also brag that in the four years during which our country has
been a Union member, Malta proved how dedicated it was and how its vocation was
truly European, by becoming part of the Schengen zone and part of the ewro
zone.
But all this talk turns upside down the real order of the facts.
The entry of the ewro in Malta did not occur because we are European, but because the economy of our country was strongly built prior to joining the Union, and there are countries that are not Union members who introduced the ewro.
We entered into the Schengen zone not because we are members in the Union, because in the Schengen zone there are other countries that are not Union members.
We
did not become more European, neither with the ewro nor with Schengen.
The European Union propagandists deceive when they say that now the Maltese and
Gozitans are living better, on the strength of the European Union
membership.
They are deceiving, because the people saw great progress much more previously than four years ago, and the progress that we may have had during the last four years is not greater than the rate of progress that we had in previous years.
That
is, without membership, the progress that the people could make could also be
made, if it could not even make more progress than it has actually been made.
The European Union propagandists have the impudence to say that the housewife is
better off with membership, when the thing that hurts the housewife most is the
high cost of living caused by the increase in the price of goods and services
that have greatly increased much more than they used to increased, especially
due to the increase in VAT that was introduced because of the European Union.
The European Union propagandists do not stand back from bragging with the
855,000,000 ewros that the Union promised Malta for the seven years
2007-2013.
They
hide the fact that during the same years Malta pays the Union an amount of 360
million ewros (according to what was lately publicly stated, Malta is paying the
Union 5,000,000 ewros every month, which amount to
420,000,000
ewros over seven years, not 360,000,000 ewros).
That is why the balance is 435,000,000 ewros, that is, year by year 62.1 million ewros per year (or 26.7 million Malta Liri).
Now
the grant that Italy used to give to Malta, and the enormous expenses that Malta
has to make every year to keep up with the Union rules and conditions, amount to
more than 26.7 million Malta Liri, and therefore our country is paying more than
it is getting from Union membership.
Prior to the referendum, massive propaganda was made in favour of the European Union that left its effect on many Maltese and Gozitans.
Now, after four years in the Union, many are those Maltese and Gozitans who have found out that the reality of the European Union is much more different than the illusion that they had of it.
The most that were deceived were the thousands of workers who have lost their employment due to the Union policy, as well as the many families whose income does not permit them to maintain the standard of living that they previously had.
Also
bitten were the thousands of hunters and trappers that the European Union
destroyed their hobby.
Now
also hard hit were the owners of the transport vehicles
due to the liberalization policy of the Union.
Other
sectors of the people suffered other shortcomings because of the Union, and more
sectors are going to be hard hit when the derogations that the Union had given
in the membership signed in 2003 end.
This is the hell reality of the European Union that the Union propagandists,
many of who are paid handsomely by it, are trying to picture it as heaven on
earth.
But the European Union hell is not the same as the hell of the other world.
We can get rid of it when we have the courage and say:
This is how long we have stayed in the Union.
And
we leave it to be again free.
Its
good to note:
The EU loses popular support
Notwithstanding
the millions that it spends every month, the European Union is not succeeding to
obtain the trust of the mass of the people in many EU countries.
According to the latest opinion poll made by the Euro Barometer of the European
Commission, the percentage of those who still think that the Union is a god
thing, that in Autumn last year stood at 57 percent of the Union citizens,
during Spring dropped down to 52 percent.
In Many
Union countries, a minority of citizens still think that the Union is a good
thing:
*
in France – 48 percent only;
* in Greece – 24 percent only,
* in Finland – 44 percent only,
* in Italy – 39 percent only,
* in Austria – 36 percent only,
* in England - 30 percent only and
* in Latvia – 29 percent only.
In
Germany according to a poll made by the prominent newspaper Dei Welt, 51 percent
of all those who took part in the poll, stated that they wished Germany to leave
the European Union.
And
the President of the European Parliament, the German Hans-Georg Poettering said
that it is possible that a majority of Germans would voter against the Lisbon
Treaty, if a referendum were to be held about it.
What
the Irish are going to acquire by having voted “NO”
The
Members of the Maltese Parliament all voted in favour of the ratification of the
Lisbon Treaty, without forcing the European Union to cede anything from the
harsh conditions that it made for our country t become a member in the Union.
Not so did the Irish do when they did not vote in favour of the Lisbon Treaty.
According to the French newspaper Le Monde, to entice the Irish to vote in favour of the Treaty when another referendum is held, the European Union drafted a number of concessions for Ireland.
The
first among them is the right that every country shall always have a
Commissioner, not as stated by the Treaty that every ten years, a country shall
not have a Commissioner for five years.
The Union
is also planning to reiterate the guarantees to the Irish that
* it shall not force Ireland to legalize abortion;
* that the Union shall not undermine Ireland’s neutrality; and
*
that every
decision on taxes shall only be taken with the consent of all the Union members.
Malta did not even smell one single concession prior to approving the
Treaty.
Malta lost an opportunity to get from the Union changes in the conditions that the Union imposed for the Shipyard to continue working after the end of this year.
A
talk with a voter in favour of membership
by
Eddy Privitera
I took my cat to the Veterinarian.
Next to me there was another man who also had a cat.
After a little while, this man, who if I remember correctly was called Manwel, turned to me and asked me “Are you not Mr Privitera?”
When I answered yes, he told me: “I frequently hear you on Smash TV”.
And
after a little while he continued: “But I do not agree with you on the EU”.
Instead of discouraging me, these words encouraged me because I continued to
convince myself how much CNI’s
programmes on Smash TV are followed, even by those whose minds are today still
feeling the effect of non-stop brainwashing that the Maltese people were
bombarded day and night for a long time prior to the referendum, which is still
going on today, although not with the same intensity.
I told Manwel:
“Can you tell me on what you do not agree with what I say?”
Immediately he answered:
“About the millions that are coming from the EU and you say tat it is costing us more millions than we are receiving”.
He
said so with a smile on his lips as if when I am saying this, I am saying some
joke.
Then I started telling him it is resulting with facts and figures that were
given in Parliament, that up to now Malta has paid more millions to the EU than
we have received from it.
I also mentioned the fact that we are losing millions of liri due to the fact that the Itralian protocol was halted after we became EU members.
While Manwel was shaking his head when I started mentioning how much we were paying money to the EU more than receiving from it, as if to show me that he was not believing me, as soon as I mentioned the Italian Protocol, he immediately told me:
“But
Italy signed the last Protocol because we were becoming members in the EU,
because otherwise it would not have signed the last Protocol.”
I told him:
“My
friend, it is true that Italy signed the last Protocol because Malta was going
to become an EU member. What they did not tell you in the media that is in
favour of the EU, is the remainder, that is, that Italy told us: “This is the
last Protocol, because you will now only receive funds from the EU”.
The discussion had to stop here because I was next to show the cat to the
Veterinarian.
I
said goodbye to Manwel and told him to continue to see our programmes. “Of
course” said Manwel with a smile.
It is a pity to see a man who appeared to know his affairs, how the media in
favour of membership in the union fill their heads with rubbish.
What
heartens me is the fact that as we, the CNI,
base our arguments on facts and not on political convenience, as politicians do,
slowly but surely those who are genuine and really want to know the truth about
Malta’s EU membership, start to realize how we are right, as we have already
been told by the thousands who follow our CNI’s
programmes on Smash TV.
