CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

 Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers

and against Malta's membership of the European Union

WE SWEAR TO FREE MALTA FROM THE SLAVERY, COLONIALISM AND DICTATORIAL ILLEGAL EUROPEAN UNION RULE

TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM

The European Union ordered that as from 2010 the Maltese and Gozitan people pay it

€182,192 daily stolen from your childrens mouths

What Youths have lost with membership in the EU

A writer in a local Sunday newspaper, wrote on first April about the commemoration of Freedom Day, and said that:

“Thousands of voters at the next general election do not remember the anniversaries that had occurred in our country prior to the 1970’s. Unfortunately they do not care less for the commemorations of events that they had not lived through”.

He continued to write that:

“I am the first one to understand that the rather youthful families after the 1990’s, many of whom are still bringing up their children, care for today. They care for their future and that of their children. The same can be said for today’s and tomorrow’s youth”.

Now if the situation is as bad as has been stated by the writer, the greatest fault is that of the politicians who failed to educate the people from where they had left to arrive where they are today.

Because the youthful couples cannot appreciate that

* the children allowance that they receive,

* the bonus that they receive,

* the number of days of paid leave that they enjoy, and

* more pay for work on Saturday and Sunday,

* and many other benefits,

if no one shows them that they had not existed from eternity, as their grandparents can tell the youths.

And if the youths care for their future and that of their children, the politicians would be committing a wrong if they do not tell them that in future these benefits are threatened because of the membership of our country in the European Union which is imposing a policy that states that the government must reduce the expense and its social burden.

Today, those politicians who say that the question of membership in the European Union is closed are playing the fool with the youths, when sector after sector of the population are complaining from the bad effects of membership and want these bad effects to be stopped, and this can easily be done by our country telling the Union that it is going to leave the Union.

They played the fool with the youths those who, prior to the referendum for membership in the Union, told them that everything is “milk and honey” in the European Union.

Many youths who believed those words found themselves discharged from their employment because their factory had to close down as a consequence of the membership of our country in the Union.

Other youths have found out that house-prices and rent are so high that they absolutely cannot meet them, also a consequence of membership in the Union.

Other youths are seeing that jobs suitable for them are not being given to them, but given to foreigners who are coming to our country from the Union countries.

For many youths the European Union dream turned into a nightmare, except for those few hundreds who have found a good job with the Union, or have taken their opportunity for a few visits paid for by the Union.

The visiting months will go by and the youths will find themselves looking for work in our country without finding it, because they did not take care of the freedom that membership in the Union has caused us to lose.

A scandalous European Union action

The threat by the European Union to the Nicaragua Government because it had enacted a law against abortion ought to shock all those who used to believe in the Union values.

A well-known priest with vast pastoral experience, the Reverend Paul Camilleri, two days ago showed how he found himself taken aback by this fact, so much so that he sent a letter to the members of the European Parliament, Simon Busuttil and David Casa, who together with Eddie Fenech Adami and Lawrence Gonzi, used to preach a lot about the Union values prior to the referendum.

In his letter, the Reverend Camilleri referred to what he had read in the newspapers that Daniel Ortega, the beloved of the left during the eighties, was re-elected as the Leader of Nicaragua.

The first thing that he did was to abolish abortion.

The EU representative in Nicaragua said that,

“the help against poverty is bound with the accessibility to abortion and with women’s rights. I hope that the new Government will be disposed and able to open discussions without the heat of the electoral campaigning”.

The Reverend Paul continued to write that according to the same newspapers, the German Minister for Development (presently Germany has the EU Presidency), made it clear that “there will be consequences if the law is not amended”.

And this when this law was passed with a majority through Parliament.

The newspapers called the words of the German Minister political blackmail and logically asked, if the EU is making this pressure on a country which is not a member, how much more pressure will it make on a member country (like Malta)?

Here the Reverend Paul asked the question:

“We have already started politely about divorce. What do you think will be next so that we will be detached from the cultural periphery of Europe?”

The Reverend Paul told Simon Busuttil and David Casa that he was sure that they valued human life from its very beginning, at least as much as illegal immigration, hunting and trapping, and that they value democracy and every right of every State whose policy about marriage and life is decided only by the citizens of that State, without any form of foreign and unjust, not to say scandalous interference.

The Reverend Paul is right to be taken aback by the EU scandalous action about abortion.

Malta, with its membership in the UE, is an accomplice with the EU in this scandalous action, because it supports the official EU policy and contributes each year to EU funds.

The yearly contributions are made by Maltese and Gozitan citizens because they are paid from taxes that are collected.

Who in his conscience feels that he should not be an accomplice in this practice should arrive at a decision to sever the obligations that we have with the EU by not remaining members in it.

The European Union wants to grab more countries

Many commentators say that the European Union is suffering from weariness caused by the rapid EU expansion.

About half the EU citizens do not want the EU to be enlarged any more.

But EU officials are manouvering so that the Union grabs more countries, such as

* Croatia,

* Bosnia and

* Ukraine.

There are a number of European leaders who think that the EU has been enlarged too much and is inviting disaster to happen to the EU.

The meetings of leaders and countries representatives of EU member countries are taking too long.

A lot of speeches are made at the meetings, but generally there is no concrete outcome except resolutions to hold more meetings.

The great bureaucracy that there is in the EU weighs down the process that leads to the taking of only a few decisions.

The system that everything that is said and written has to be translated in all the EU languages is an absurd and useless system, costs a lot of money and a waste of time and people.

Some therefore insist that the EU experiment is going to fail.

Everyone knows that the European Parliament is not a Parliament but a stage for acting where a member cannot speak for more than three minutes and where votes are taken by the dozen in five minutes.

It does not have the power of national Parliaments, and that is why it has more than seven hundred members.

The expenses for the European Parliament are enormous and superfluous because the substantive decisions are not taken by Parliament, but by the European Commission and the Council of the European Union.

Notwithstanding the great defects that there are in the EU, those who want the EU to be enlarged succeed in their aims.

They succeeded that on 1 January this year, they got two new Eastern European countries,

* Romania and

* Bulgaria,

to become EU members.

The EU accepted the membership of these two ex-communist countries not because they satisfied the conditions of democracy and cleanliness in public administration that the EU insists that the member countries should have.

The EU accepted their membership because it suits it to expand towards the East and suits it to grab the Romanian gas resources and oil refineries, as well as structures that transport oil (oil pipelines) from the Black Sea to Europe, without these pipelines passing through Russia.

Although Romania and Bulgaria are relatively poor, they are just as useful to the EU because they have a lot of tradesmen who are used to work as lot, are highly motivated, and would be very useful for the EU economy.

They are so needed by the EU that it reserved 40 billion euros for them, that is, it is ready to give them more than 46 times what it is ready to give to Malta in seven years (885 million euros). But the Maltese fools are happy!

The EU is in crisis

Professor Sabino Acquaviva, a lecturer in religious sociology, published a book titled “The eclipse of Europe”.

A few weeks ago we published what this book contains on this page.

About a month ago an interview with Professor Acquaviva was published in an Italian magazine.

In this interview, Professor Acquaviva insisted that Europe is in crisis.

He insisted that Christianism had emigrated from Europe (notwithstanding that its centre, the Vatican, is in Italy).

According to Acquaviva,

* Europe became a continent that doubts everything and does not believe in anything (therefore sceptic),

* became lost running after pleasures (therefore hedonist), and

* became a continent without ideals,

thinking about living day by day in its own small world.

Professor Acquaviva explained that there are two consequences of this European crisis.

First, there is the collapse and breakup of the family, and secondly, due to the big drop in the birthrate, the population of Europe is dwindling, while the youth generation of India and China is increasing rapidly.

All this is leading to an economic crisis in Europe, because the economic strength in the world is no longer in Europe, but is found in Asia.

Previously, the European continent dominated the world economically (and also militarily).

In the moral and religious fields the crisis in Europe also appears from the fact that the Churches have become empty of believers, and pornography has become widespread everywhere and is eroding the moral fibre of European society.

At the same time unbridled consumerism is destroying the European system of values, and that the Europeans that have everything no longer appreciate anything.

Professor Acquaviva arrived at the conclusion that we are seeing the eclipse of Europe and European civilization because the European continent is going downhill, besieged by millions from countries from outside Europe who are going to surpass the Europeans.

That is why he gave the title to his book, the Eclipse and not the death, because he still has a small hope that there may be in future if we change how we are working and if we again give a sense to the life that we are living in Europe.

The EU propagandists in Malta need to read Acquaviva’s book to become aware of what sacrilege they had committed when they worked for Malta to become a member in the EU and to be one thing with a morally, economically and socially decadent Europe.

But not everything is lost.

We can still save our children’s future by freeing our country from the EU yoke so that we can again endear our fathers’ healthy values.
