CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers

and against Malta's membership of the European Union

WE SWEAR TO FREE MALTA FROM THE SLAVERY, COLONIALISM AND DICTATORIAL ILLEGAL EUROPEAN UNION RULE

TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM

In the seven years 2007 – 2013 the Maltese and Gozitans are going to pay the European Union €420,000,000

Drastic measures on illegal immigration

The Maltese Government is not capable of preventing the invasion of our country by thousands of illegal immigrants.

The Armed Forces of Malta, instead of preventing the immigrants from entering into our country, have been ordered to help them land in our country.

The Police, whose duty is to take measures against whoever is illegally in our country, are ordered to take care of them, instead of taking measures against them.

In the meantime an ever in creasing part of the people is getting angry seeing every week an increase in the illegal immigrant’s crisis, without any idea that effective measures are going to be taken to overcome the crisis.

* The European Union is greatly to blame for this illegal immigrants’ crisis in our country.

The Union finds many excuses for the immigrants not to be sent back to their own countries, and for some of them to be kept in Malta as refugees and others to be allowed to work in our country as humanitarian cases.

In the meantime the Union does not allow us to go where they want to go in other Union countries.

Although our country forms part of the Union, the immigrants that there are in our country cannot go to other parts of the Union, as we Maltese can do.

The Union does not care that the immigrants did not want to come to Malta and that they were on their way to other Union countries.

Because of this Union policy, our country ended up having to feed and take care of great thousands of immigrants, and to provide them with essential services and social benefits.

All this means a financial burden of great millions of ewros every year, apart from the social problems that thousands of immigrants create in our country.

The Maltese Government either does not know, or is afraid to take the necessary measures to overcome this illegal immigrants’ crisis.

The European Union also does not have the will to adopt a serious policy about this crisis.

Instead, the Union is spending millions on its agency Frontex, led by Simon Busuttil, to patrol the Mediterranean, which instead of scaring the immigrants from sailing, is encouraging them more because it is decreasing the danger of drowning with the help that it gives them and escorts them to the nearest land, most of the time being Malta.

* Even if the European Union does not agree, Malta should declare that every illegal immigrant that lands in our country, be sent back, whatever his circumstances.

When this policy becomes known by the immigrants, they would do everything possible not to come near or be landed in our country.

* Malta should also declare that the illegal immigrants who make it difficult to go back to their countries shall be locked up in prison until they cooperate to be sent back to their own country.

This is a drastic measure but is required to overcome the crisis that we are in.

We should remember that illegal immigration is the work of criminal traffickers that are doing great business from the difficulties that many people in Africa are in.

If we do not stop illegal immigration, we shall be helping the organized traffickers in their criminal trade.

On the other hand, if our country wants to help countries in need, it is better that the millions that our country is spending on illegal immigrants, be given in direct help to the countries from where the illegal immigrants are coming.

* Not to accept any illegal immigrants for any reason is a drastic measure that will find opposition from the European Union.

* But it is a measure required for our country and it is certain to find the support of the vast majority of our population.

For this measure to be implemented, we require to overcome not only the opposition of the European Union, but also the lack of ability and will of the Maltese Government.

* For this to happen, it is required that the people rise up and protest.

If the people are not going to rise up and protest against the European Union policy about illegal immigrants, that the Maltese Government is following, the crisis will continue to aggravate.

It may not be long before we shall have to face serious social upheavals such as we are seeing in the news in parts of London.

This is apart from the financial burden that our country is having to incur of about €30 each day for each illegal immigrant of the thousands of illegal immigrants that we have in our country, apart from the waste of human resources of hundreds of Soldiers and Policemen that all the time are wasted to control and serve the immigrants.

If the people are not going to rise up, the Government on its own is not going to move about this crisis that has hit our country.

The Shipyard should remain a Maltese enterprise

All nations that acquire independence never let their important strategic facilities of the country in foreign hands, and therefore nationalize them even if they have to redeem them with great amounts of money from the foreigners.

The free Maltese Government took in its hands from the foreigners,

* the airport,

* the ports,

* telecommunications,

* broadcasting and previously,

* the Shipyard.

But when the people chose a leadership that had no sense of what makes a country a free nation, the people started losing one after the other the important strategic facilities of the country to foreigners.

* The Airport ended up in foreigners’ hands.

* The loading and unloading of merchandise in Grand Harbour fell under the control of foreigners.

* The Freeport was given to foreigners,

* Telemalta, which became Maltacom, ended up in foreigners hands.

* And now the Government wants the Shipyard to be in foreigners’ hands, so that it will be certain that all the important strategic facilities of our country do not remain in Maltese hands.

* When all the important strategic facilities of Malta are under the control of foreigners, the Maltese people have lost the power to manage his affairs.

* With the loss of the management of his affairs, the Maltese people are losing large swathes of their land which is being allowed to be bought by foreigners.

* A great share of trade in our country has already been taken by foreign supermarkets.

* Big construction contracts were won by foreigners, instead of being given to the Maltese that are capable of making them.

* We have destroyed the local manufacturing industry for the Maltese market, because we did not continue to protect it from unbridled importation.

* All these disasters are the consequences of the membership of our country in the European Union.

* The Union is like a hurricane that is levelling all that is Maltese in our country.

* Neither the management of the country is any longer in the hands of those elected by the people in the general elections.

* The chosen leaders do not lead themselves, but are led by the foreigners of the European Union.

* The will of the Maltese people is no longer sovereign,

* because the people have to do what the Union orders, and

* the will of the majority of the Maltese people is buried by the will of the majority of the European Union.

* With the membership of our country in the European Union, the Government cannot protect the national interests of the people if they do not agree with the interests of the majority of the European Union.

* Because the Maltese people are no longer free to decide themselves according to their national interests, but are bound to do as decided by the majority of the Union.

* The next victim of the anti-national policy of the European Union is the Shipyard that its privatization means, according to the Union, that it passes into foreign hands.

The Shipyard is a very important strategic national asset that should remain in Maltese hands.

* It should be privatized by passing into the hands of the Shipyard workers themselves, who are capable of managing it from the technical side,

* and only require a foreign partner who can give them the required efficient and modern management,

* as well as aggressive marketing so that the Shipyard can make use of its enormous potential that it has,

* both in human resources,

* as well as the excellent docks facilities

* in the most strategic place at the centre of the Mediterranean

* in which a great number of ships,

* tankers and

* super yachts sail.

Free Malta should not have in its centre a foreign maritime base upon which the Maltese people do not have any control neither by whom it is used, nor for what it is used.

Whatever the European Union says, the Shipyard should remain Maltese and not become a foreign enterprise.

Privatization is against the interests of the Maltese people

* The European forced the Government

* to privatize the importation

* bottling and

* distribution of gas in our country that today are made by Enemalta.

* Enemalta subsidizes the price of gas to consumers,

* while the European Union imposes a tax on it,

* as it does on every petroleum product.

The Union does not want the people to enjoy the subsidy on gas,

and therefore the people shall have to pay a bigger price for it to a private consortium that has been given a monopoly for 30 years on the importation, bottling and distribution of gas.

The private sector is going to take in its hands from Enemalta the gas business to make a profit on the price of gas that the public shall have to pay.

This is what is meant by the privatization doctrine that the European Union preachers and orders the government of every member state to practice in its country, as is happening in Malta.

Because for the Union, the profits of the private sector are supreme over the public interests.

And notwithstanding that a government has the duty to first protect the interests of the general public

it has to bow its head to what the Union orders it to do, even though it would be against the interests of its people.

This is what membership in the European Union leads to – that the government has to sacrifice the interests of the people to implement the policy of the Union in favour of the private sector.

Unfortunately this shame is also happening in Malta,

where the political parties fell into this idolatry of the false God of the European Union and put aside the national interests of the Maltese people.

Because it is a betrayal of the interests of the people to say that a government should not invest in enterprises that make a profit because it is not the function of a government to conduct business where the business can result in profit.

The profit that a government makes is profit for all the people, and therefore it is in the interests of the people that the government makes profit from commercial enterprises.

But since the European Union does not want this, the governments of the member states, including the Maltese Government, have to renounce to their commercial investments.

In our country we have assisted to diverse cases of betrayal of the interests of the Maltese people.

* We had the notorious case of the mid-Med Bank that the Government privatized and made the people to lose the great millions of profit that he bank made each year.

* We had a telephone service that used to leave great profit from the rates that the public itself paid, now the profit is going to the private sector.

* We had the case of the Post that makes profit from the sale of stamps to the public, and now this profit is going to the private sector.

* We had the case of the Lotto that used to leave millions in profit from the money that the people betted, and which previously was enjoyed by the people themselves by means of the Government, now the profit is going into private pockets.

And there will be such similar cases where privatization has one single aim – to deny to the people the profit from enterprises, to give it as a gift to private hands.

And the obscenity of this is greater when instead, it is said that privatization is being made in the interests of the people.

This obscenity is also happening in our country because of our membership in the European Union, because the political parties do not want to go against the Union to protect the interests of the Maltese people.
