WELCOME TO THE CNI WEBPAGE
CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers
and against Malta's membership of the European Union
TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM
In the seven years 2007 – 2014 the Maltese and Gozitans are going to pay the European Union €420,000,000
Does ‘Partnership’ exist or not?
These people, notwithstanding that they were caught lying to the Maltese people prior to the referendum and the general election, act as if nothing had happened!
They used to lie and are continuing to lie.
We are referring to the Nationalist leaders – on the forefront the ex-Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami and the ex-Vice Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, today the Prime Minister – as well as the English newspapers, on the forefront The Times and The Sunday Times, and a lot of other “opportunist” opinionists, and the MIC.
They
all did their utmost to discredit the policy that was being proposed by the
Labour Party about the relationship that our country should have had with the
EU, that is a “Partnership” policy instead of the Nationalist policy of full
EU membership.
To discredit the “Partnership” policy, they had invented a barefaced lie –
that a “Partnership” agreement with the EU “does not exist”!
They used to insist on this lie with every means of propaganda.
They
had the MIC, the institution that was supposed to inform the Maltese public
about everything that had to do with membership in the EU.
Those of the MIC, led by Simon Busuttil, today a Nationalist Parliamentary
Deputy in the European Parliament, never corrected that barefaced lie and
informed the Maltese public that, in fact, a “Partnership” agreement with
the EU was possible because the EU already had such agreements with different
countries.
Instead of doing this as was their duty, they remained silent and let the Maltese and Gozitan people be deceived with false information.
If
we are mistaken, we invite the Forum Malta fl-Ewropa (Forum Malta in Europe) to
give us details when and where they had belied the Nationalist speakers and
opinionists servants of the Nationalist Party.
Let us now come to the latest proof of how they are taking the Maltese and Gozitan people for a ride.
In
the newspaper The Times of 25 November 2006, there was a report written by
Christian Lowe and Jeff Mason.
The relevant part of The Times report which refers to this “Partnership”
agreement between Russia and the EU was this:
“Moscow and Brussels were to have used a summit in Finland to Launch
negotiation on a new wide-ranging “Partnership” agreement but Poland blocked those
talks, saying it wanted Russia first to lift its ban on Polish meat imports."
This is another clear proof of how the Maltese people were deceived to vote with a small majority so that Malta will become a EU member.
Does
anyone believe that if they did not lie a series of lies one after the other
about the make believe “benefits” of membership and the other
“Partnership” alternative of the Labour Party, the majority would still have
voted in favour of membership?
Note how they are using the same tactics about the adoption of the Ewro – ceaseless propaganda paid from the Maltese and Gozitan people pockets – to force the people to believe that the adoption of the Ewro “is in the interests of us all”!
And
as has happened about membership, the people will become aware that they had
been deceived after the Ewro is adopted in our country, and perhaps the general
election would also have passed!
Will Prime Minister Gonzi, while he is meeting people on the churches parvis
after Sunday mass, repent and tell them that they had lied to the people about
the Labour Party “Partnership”, and that we the CNI
had agreed with it because we knew that it existed?!
They are ready to take to the streets
The
Times newspaper gave great prominence on its front page of its 27 November
edition to the news that the Federazzjoni Kaċċaturi Nassaba
Konservazzjonisti (FKNK) (Hunters, Trappers and Conservationists Federation)
called all hunters to be ready to take to the streets if the Government is not
going to publish the amendments for the hunting regulations after a series of
meetings were held between the Government and the FKNK.
It is obvious that the FKNK was given the impression that the Government was going to publish the amendments on which agreement had probably been reached between the two sides.
From
our side, we have always insisted that the government is playing its usual game
of letting you understand one thing, until the election had passed, then you
find another, naturally after the election had passed!
But today, it is being much more difficult for the Government to play that game,
because there is the European Commission guarding it as a hawk.
And the Government knows that if not today, tomorrow or the day after it will have to do what it is commanded to do by the European Union.
That
is, that spring hunting will be stopped and trapping stopped all the year round.
Although the CNI
has nothing to do with hunting and trapping, and none of its officials are
hunters or trappers, we shall never agree that the Government, whoever it is, be
not allowed to arrive at an agreement between the two sides of this problem –
the hunters and trappers on one side, and organisations such as ‘Birdlife’
on the other.
During the Labour Government between 1996 and 1998, a balance was reached
between the two sides and the greater part of the problem was solved.
Each side ceded a little and a compromise was reached.
It
was with Malta’s membership in the EU that the underlying cinders lit the fire
of confrontation with the imposition of senseless European Union regulations as
regards hunting and trapping in our country.
If they had said nothing good in the referendum campaign, they certainly told
the truth when they said that, “entry into the European Union is not something
“a la carte”.
You
have to eat what they make you swallow!
For hunters, trappers and everyone who feels that the “European Union is
interfering where it should not interfere”, there is only one solution –
that we all work together to rid our country and our people from this yoke.
Don’t lose your courage, because many movements and political parties in Europe are working with this aim!
Did they ever tell you that the Russian helicopter “was a danger to life”?
During the programme “B’kull dritt”, conducted by Mr George Tabone on Smash TV on Wednesday 29 November, we heard the Nationalist Party representative, Mr John Bonello, who is also the foreign relations officer of the Nationalist Party, say that the Russian helicopter service between Malta and Gozo was stopped because the Government did not want to put the life of Maltese and Gozitan people “in danger”!
These Nationalist Party officers and speakers are so ashamed to admit that they
have to do what they are ordered by the European Union, that they find every
excuse to cover this fact.
Now when Mr John Bonello said that they did not want to endanger the life of those who use the helicopter service (and naturally of those who may be hit in case of an accident and the helicopter falls on buildings, for example) did not even become aware that when he said so he was saying that the Nationalist Government had left, therefore, the life of the Maltese and Gozitan people and tourists “in danger” for the long years that the Russian helicopter had worked between Malta and Gozo!
Really, they so much don’t know what they are doing that
they are stumbling in their own feet all the time.
The Russian helicopter service was stopped because the European Union said that
it was not according the European Union “standards”.
As was said in the programme, how can one ever believe
that the Russians who were capable of being the first to put a satellite in
space – the Sputnik – were not capable of building a helicopter which had
enough “standards” to lift off a few hundred metres above earth!
The real reason is that the European Union invents “standards” to make it difficult that some companies or governments who are members in the European Union, buy or use helicopters that were not built in the European Union, so that it will protect its industry!
That
is the real reason and not some “danger” that Mr Bonello mentioned, that
after all, the Nationalist Government itself allowed to be used for long years!
The
Government has a plan, and how!
With due respect, we do not agree with the Labour leader, Dr Alfred Sant, when
he said that Dr Gonzi’s Government is leading without a plan.
On the contrary, we say that the Government led by Prime
Minister has a plan, and how!
The plan is the same plan that they have always implemented before every
election, that is, to deceive the voters with false promises, “miracles”
that overshadow those of Padre Pio, and unlimited lies.
And how they have a plan!
We believe that about the Nationalist “plan”, even Dr
Alfred Sant agrees with us.
