CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE

Was, is and shall remain in favour of Maltese workers
and against Malta's membership of the European Union
By the Campaign for National Independence CNI
TELL YOUR PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY THAT YOU WANT MALTA TO REGAIN INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM
It wants us to accept more illegal immigrants
We are really in a pretty good situation now that we are members in the EU!
Not only from the other member countries – countries very much bigger than us – that one can say that none of them have helped us to solve the big problem that our country has with illegal immigration, but we are also seeing writings in a well-known international magazine – The Economist – telling us not to grumble because, according to the magazine, we Maltese are making a mountain out of a molehill in this problem.
The Economist says that this problem is not so grave as we are making it.
What
it did not say is that while the big European Union countries say that they need
around 20 million immigrants up to 2020 so that their economies continue to
expand – this little bit of rock bursting with more than 400,000 people –
does not have a lack of people to sustain our economy.
On the contrary, what is happening to us is that because of membership (a very false word) we are losing certain categories of people that our country needs.
Apart
from membership making our country a magnet for illegal immigrants who want to
arrive in any European Union country.
Recently a concert was also held in Malta by three singers of world fame.
The aim of this concert was to encourage the Maltese people to accept the illegal immigrants with open arms.
What remained for them to tell us was that if we see a boat loaded with illegal immigrants we should send a band to welcome them with marches and joy as soon as they land!
One
of the three singers, Claudio Baglione, even said that not only should we not
close our doors to illegal immigrants, but that indeed we should “open the
windows” and integrate with them!
According to a correspondent who writes in a daily English newspaper – Anthony
Licari – the Prime Minister was quoted as having said that the illegal
immigrants have already reached half the yearly birth rate in our country.
It should also be made clear that those who write and say that it is the right parties that are insisting for a radical policy to eliminate the great danger that the Maltese people are facing are not correct.
There are many more “leftwingers” who want a policy that protects the Maltese people and our country from the great social trouble that the unchecked illegal immigration is going to have on our country in the coming years.
This
is a national problem that hits everyone, those on the right as well as those on
the left.
This
can be by allowing the illegal imigrants to leave how they want and with what
they want for the European countries where they wish to go.
Problems
by the European Union for the Catholic Church
For the Italian Parliamentary Member Maurizio Ronconi, it is the free-masonary in the European Union that is responsible for the problems that the Union is creating for the Catholic Church in
* Italy, in
* Spain and in
* Belgium,
about
the payment of taxes.
Recently
it became known that Nellie Kroes, the European Commissioner responsible for
competition policy, was considering whether to conduct an investigation about
the tax exemptions granted to the Catholic Church in the three mentioned
countries.
The Catholic Church in Italy has many
* hospitals and
* clinics,
* many schools and also
* hotels and
* hostels
that are run like commercial interprizes, although some of them are not run for profit.
According to the Italian newspaper La Stampa, the Catholic Church has
* 18 hospitals,
* 55 clinics and
* 250 schools
in
Rome alone.
The European Union asked the Italian Government to give it information about the
tax exemptions that the Catholic Church enjoys according to law.
The
Union is doing this because it suspects that the tax exemptions are a form of
State aid for commercial enterprises and hinder fair competition.
This action by the European Union has created strong criticism in Italy.
According
to the Italian newspaper Il Corriera Della Sera, the Italian Minister for
Justice Clemente Mastella said that while the European Union only asked for
information, added that in Italy, the exemption for the payment of taxes on
immovable property is not only for religious entities but for all immovable
property that is not used with the aim of profit.
The Italian parliamentary member Rocco Buttiglione said that the European Union
should be more prudent and should not give good reason to those who suspect that
it has an anti-Christian leaning that has led to the defeat that the Union
suffered with the referenda in
* France and
* The Netherlands
about
the European Constitution.
It
should be remembered that the European Parliament had not accepted that
Buttiglione becomes a European Commissioner because of his Christian beliefs on
marriage.
The President of the Lombardy region, Roberto Formigoni, insisted that the
European Union is showing that it does not have a good idea of the circumstances
in Italy, and that it believes the false ideas that there are about the
relations between the State and the Church in Italy.
The Italian Member of Parliament Maurizio Gasparri said that it is intolerable
that the Union interferes in this manner in Italy’s internal affairs.
But the Italian Senator of the Greens
Group, Natale
Ripamonti, augured that Italy be like other Union countries and succeeds in
removing the privileges that fiscal laws give to ecclesiastical enterprises.
Ought we to think that the Italian Parliamentary member of the Green
Group, the
Maltese Arnold
Cassola, is of
the same opinion as his friend Natale Ripamonti?
Dictatorship
and the EU
Adolf Hitler, perhaps contrary to what many believe, had acquired power in such a manner called “democratic”.
Because
he had done so by means of the people’s “democratic” vote.
But
one has to ask, if you acquire the people’s majority vote after the people
were subjected to a ceaseless propaganda bombardment so much so that the people
are led to believe in things that in reality were not be going to be
implemented, should that vote be considered as a “democratic vote” of not?
One can say that the manner in which the founders and leaders of the European
Union had taken power in their hands, not of one people but today of 27
countries, is worse than that by which Hitler has taken Germany’s power in his
hands.
Because the Union was set up without popular consent.
It
was only the politicians who gave the Union the power that it has.
The EU founders and those who came after them were craftier than the Nazis and
the fascists before the last world war.
While
Hitler and Mussolini used their military and police strength so that in the end
they had absolute power over their people, the EU leaders always hid every step
that they made to acquire an ever increasing power on their people behind some
“reason” or economic pretext.
The EU leaders always considered the European people’s vote as a threat for
the final end that they were going to build a European super-state not led by
the sovereign parliaments of the member countries, but by centralized power in
Brussels by means of the European Council and the un-elected European Commission.
In the coming weeks we are again going to see how the EU is going to impose its will on the will of the European peoples by using its politicians to make a new treaty, the Treaty which is being called a Reform Treaty that gives new powers to the Union.
This
is going to be another nail in the coffin in which the last vestiges of
sovereignty that the European peoples of the European member countries still
have are going to be buried.
One can comment that at least Hitler and Mussolini, after snatching power with
the peoples vote, uncovered their hands about their aims.
The
EU politicians still want to hide their hands about their final aim!
The European Union gave us the greatest proof that it does not enjoy popular
support when it is insisting that no peoples’ referenda be held in the member
countries about the new Reform Treaty.
It knows that the people do not accept it, but it want to impose it on them
The
reform treaty destroys our neutrality
Some
years ago the Maltese European Union propagandists had told us that there was
nothing to stop our country from embracing the European Union common foreign
policy, since there was no scope left (according to them) for Malta’s
neutrality and non-alignment policy because the Soviet Union had ceased to
exist.
They
were never right to say so, but certainly they are not right today when there
are more than two blocks in the world, as there was previously when our country,
during the latter half of the eighties, embraced the neutrality and non-aligned
policy.
Because today apart from the western countries block, there is in the
world
* Russia, which is being considered as a superpower,
* China,
* India and
* Brazil, that are fast growing economically, and in the case of
* China, also militarily,
and the Islamic countries block that includes
* Iran,
that openly are not with the western countries, that if they still do not have the nuclear bomb, have the human suicide bomb and the weapon that is called “terrorism” by the west, against which there is no defence.
In front of this dangerous world situation separated
* politically,
* ideologically and
* militarily,
it is now more than ever in the interests of security, that our people will in fact, and considered by everyone,
* neutral and
* aligned
with
no one.
The Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy that the new Reform Treaty is going to create is going to represent the whole Union, Malta included, and is going to speak on behalf of all the Union countries, also on behalf of Malta.
How
can the world therefore consider Malta in a different manner than that which it
considers the European Union that is neither neutral nor non-aligned?
It is in Malta’s interest that the Union would not have its common foreign
policy and that the Union would not have a High Representative who speaks on
behalf of Malta on foreign affairs.
It is by means of the Reform Treaty that the Union is going to have a common foreign policy and a Representative for Foreign Affairs.
It is therefore in the countries interests that this Treaty does not enter into effect.
It
is not in the national interest that this Treaty be approved by the Maltese
Parliament for many reasons, mainly among them that it will not make it possible
any longer that Malta be considered neutral and non-aligned, which is the
greatest weapon that our country had to actively work for peace among nations,
and which is the greatest shield for the protection of the security of our
people.
