The
European Union undermines the family.
This is being said by many prominent persons, among them Cardinal Sean Brady, the Archbishop of Ireland.
We, the CNI have said this before the Referendum on EU membership, but those who were duty bound to open the Maltese Christians eyes did not say it, because he brought the excuse that EU membership was a political issue.
Cardinal
Sean Brady, while he was visiting a summer school in the West of Ireland, said
that
* the EU had taken many decisions that undermine the family based on marriage, and
* that go against the right to life as from the moment of conception until natural death.
Some of the Union decisions are against the sanctifying of Sundays and threaten the right of Christian institutions, including schools that maintain and promote their fundamental and distinct character (ethos)
Cardinal Brady also said that some of the EU leaders ignored the fact that their
decisions against the family strongly affected people who have strong Christian
beliefs, and this effect led many to reduce their support for the European
Union.
We, the CNI hope that the Maltese and Gozitans Christians would have the courage and like the Irish Christians withdraw their support for the EU. It is only in this manner that the mistake that they made when they voted “YES” in the referendum can be corrected
Cardinal Brady continued to say that the culture and agenda that there is
presently in the EU appear to be led more by secular tradition than with the
memory of the Catholic heritage of the majority of the member state.
We, the CNI have always insisted that the EU does not have Christian values as used to be said by Fenech Adami and Gonzi prior to the Referendum to deceive the Maltese and Gozitan Christians.
We have always complained
* that the EU liberal capitalist economic policy
* is not built on social justice,
* but on the market,
* competition and
* profit.

For
the Union the unbridled competition rules, and not the rights and dignity of
humans, that are greater for true Christians.
Fenech Adami and Gonzi knew this, but for them the political aim to make Malta an EU member was greater than the protection of the good values of the Maltese people.
For the money promised by the EU they encouraged the Maltese and Gozitans to sell their soul and their country.
Parents who see how their youths have lost the values are right to curse the moment that our country became an EU member, because they know that it is greatly to blame for the loss of values

The
trouble that erupted in Georgia can lead to a renewal of the cold war between
Russia and the Western countries, including the European Union. Our country, now
that the devil wanted to become a Union member, is going to be involved in the
cold war.
This breaches our active neutrality that is based on non-alignment and therefore is against what the Constitution of Malta wants.
The trouble in Georgia started when its Government attacked the South Ossetia region to subdue its separatists and the Russians intervened to protect them, and took the occasion to destroy the Georgian army.
The Russians know that behind the Georgia Government there are the Americans and NATO.
They want to make Georgia a NATO member and Russia does not want this because it feels threatened if NATO reaches its frontiers.
Our country, if it really wants to honour its mission to actively work for peace, should discourage not support the American and NATO manoeuvres in Georgia that are considered as a threat by Russia. Malta should insist that the most just solution will be for Georgia not to align itself, neither with the Americans nor with the Russians.
But as long as the Maltese government remains ruled by the European Union, our country will be towed along with the Union policy and will not implement the policy of active neutrality that the Constitution of Malta orders.
For the time being it is only being said that there is a new cold war. It is not being said that in fact there is the danger that a real war can happen, that can end up in a nuclear one.
Because
near Georgia there is also Ukraine touching Russia and the Americans and NATO
want the last mentioned to also enter under their military umbrella.
The Russians consider this as a serious threat for their country’s security and most probably will be ready to enter into a war not to let this happen, even if this will be a nuclear war.
As has happened in the case of Georgia, in the case of Ukraine and the EU they will be on the side of the Americans and NATO.
And Malta, because of the cursed Union membership, will find itself without wanting it, in a nuclear war against Russia, with a breach of the constitutional obligation of neutrality and non-alignment.
The same as in the case of Georgia, Malta should insist that the best just solution for everyone will be that Ukraine will embrace neutrality and non-alignment and thus the American and NATO threat will end, and for it to be repelled, Russia is ready to fight even with nuclear weapons.
All this shows us in what trouble of a cold war and also a nuclear war EU membership may involve our people blamelessly, because we did not recognize how to take care of our neutrality and non-alignment.
The policy of neutrality and non-alignment is not a whim, but is essential for the protection of our people.
Georgia’s trouble raised another issue for our country apart fro the usefulness
of neutrality and non-alignment.
This is how we should act when people from part of a country demand independence and to be severed from the country, as had been demanded by the people from the South Ossetia and Abkhazia regions to get independence from Georgia.
The European Union chose to sustain the principle of the protection of the territorial integrity of Georgia, and therefore did not agree that the people of the two regions gain independence.
In the case of Kosovo and Serbia, many EU countries (including Malta) supported Kosovo’s independence, even though this was against the territorial integrity of Serbia.
It is not right that our country eve after getting independence and the principle of territorial integrity dances according to the EU music and as is good for its benefit.
The Maltese people, after fighting for the total independence of our country, should never be against any people demanding independence and to be cut off from the mother country.
The right for the freedom of a people is greater than the territorial integrity of a country.
If the Gozitans were to demand independence from Malta, we should not deny it to them, notwithstanding that it breaches the territorial integrity of Malta.
As a principle, therefore, Malta should not support the EU to condemn the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
Membership in the EU has cast us into this shame, that we neither observe the neutrality and non-alignment nor endear the right of freedom of all people.
We need to again be independent and free from the EU to assure our protection by means of neutrality and non-alignment and to support every people who fight for their independence and freedom.

A very interesting report of the journalist John Pisani in this newspaper of 25 August with the title “Foreign Homicides and “lace” hold up not solved, confirmed how right we were when we spoke on Smash TV and also wrote in this page that the entry of Malta into the Schengen Zone was going to weaken our security.
Last Thursday, 1 May, in this page we wrote an article with the title “Schengen reduced our country’s security”. I am going to quote a part from the article and tell us whether we were prophets or not.
We thus wrote:
“The worst consequence of the agreement is that criminals in the Schengen Zone now have the facility to operate wherever they want in all the zone countries without anyone keeping tabs on where they go. In our case, this means that those from the Mafia and Camorra will not find any obstacle to be hired to commit a crime in our country, as they do in their own country. The Schengen agreement increased the threat of crimes that are committed on our people and therefore reduced security in our country”.
And further down in our article we said (and here I believe that we had hit the nail on it’s head):
“The Mafia style of the murder that was committed in Birkirkara will perhaps help for the people to understand that it is better to have a little less convenience when you travel, than less security in our country, as a result of being made to enter in the Schengen Zone”.
This is not enough.
When I spoke on the dangers for our security because of Schengen, in the Smash TV programme on 26 June this year, where I said that now that we were forced to enter into the Schengen Zone, even the hardest criminals that there are in the European countries who are similarly in the Schengen Zone, can come to our country, commit come criminal act such as murder or theft, without any controls whatsoever and we will not even know that they were in our country.
Look what the l-Orizzont journalist that I have mentioned has written. He started by referring to the murder that happened in Birkirkara on 24 April 2008 and that we have mentioned in the CNI page from which I have quoted further up.
John Pisani wrote:
“Although the Police continue to investigate each case, they do not succeed to solve them all. Perhaps a crime among the most difficult is that which happened on Thursday, 24 April, 2008, in Birkirkara. Although the Police never said that this was a professional killing, sources close to the Police told l-Orizzont that everything indicates that the murderers were foreigners sent to Malta, committed a crime and left on the same day.”
Now more than ever we believe that this is what happened. Someone commissioned foreign criminals to commit this crime, because it is easy for such criminal act to be committed by foreign criminals, because there is no control whatsoever to know who entered and left Malta, when they come from some Schengen Zone country.
Do not think that they are ever going to admit that this is what happened, because they would be admitting that when they made Malta enter into the Schengen Zone, they were undermining our country’s security.
Can one say that they consider this as some “benefit” that we now have because we are in the European Union?
